Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe your mind is working overtime, leaving you exhausted. You might feel like you’re journeying through life with an incomplete (or totally blank) roadmap and you find yourself thinking, “Is this how it’s going to be forever?”

I want you to know—you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel this way. What if I told you that it’s possible to feel sturdier amidst the chaos? That the roadmap you’re longing for is already within you, it’s just under layers of dust, dirt, and piles of accumulated stuff?

I firmly believe that each person is the expert in their own life. Often, that inner wisdom gets clouded by external messaging (from the world, our families, our friends, our communities). I help people untangle these conflicting messages and discover who they really are. When we find that inner Self and lead from there, our whole world changes.

Hi there. I’m Emma.

My superpower is the curiosity I bring to the therapy space, investigating the stories that we’ve carried all our lives to see what feels most true or what may be holding us back. I love those lightbulb moments when my clients realize they’re not broken or weird or “crazy”—that these patterns they’ve been stuck in have been their nervous system’s attempts at protection with the tools it had available in the past. I help people find new tools that feel better and more effective in the present.

My clients love getting curious, too. They want to dig in and find out more about their inner world and understand how they’ve gotten to this place in their lives. This process of self-discovery usually leads to more self-love, as they understand that there’s strengths in all the parts of themselves that they’ve learned to reject or hide.

Therapy can be hard. It’s not always “Aha!” moments and feeling comfortable. I firmly believe that so much growth can happen in these tough spots. And the tough spots feel less tricky when we feel safe and connected in the therapy room.
